Publisher 2007 Essential Skills
Course Information
This one day course is designed to take you through the basics of Publisher from the basic concepts through to the more complex design publications.
Delegates will learn to create a publication incorporate text and graphics utilising the appropriate layout for their publication.
Pre-requisites
Delegates should be comfortable with Windows and the use of the mouse. It is recommended that delegates have experience of other MS Office applications such as Word or Excel.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
- Explain the basic concepts of Publisher
- Navigate within Publisher
- Create Publications by Type and by Design
- Create Blank Publications
- Use the Publication Wizards
- Modify and Enhance the text, change fonts, colours shading and borders
- Identify different types of publications such as leaflets, newsletters, flyers and posters, cards and certificates
- Use the design gallery and add and customise items
- Add and link text boxes to publications
- Use the drawing tools to draw shapes, add autoshapes, WordArt and tables
- Select printing options and print their publications
