Project 2007 Advanced
Course Information
This one day course is designed to build on existing skills in Microsoft Project.
Delegates will learn to customise Project by creating filters, tables and views and will understand how to work with multiple projects using and creating a resource pool.
Pre-requisites
Those attending this course should have attended the previous two days of Project training or have equivalent knowledge from their own usage of the package.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
- Create tables, filters, groups, views and reports which contain exactly the information which is accessed most frequently and know how to use the organiser to make them available globally.
- Link a resource pool to several files to enable resources to be shared between projects.
- Use the many facilities of Project that enable them to utilise several project files at the same time.
- Import data from and export data to other applications.
- Place drawings on the Gantt Chart to emphasize the project.
- Customise project fields and outline codes.
- Save a project as a template.
- Understand how to edit the options within Project and change defaults.
