Taking advantage of the funding opportunites available – do you qualify?

In these difficult times, you may be understandably worried about the cost of training. You may be feeling that although you feel you need to develop your Management and Leadership skills to aid with your business development, that the money for this would be better invested elsewhere.

However, there is no need to worry as financial assistance is available through the Leadership and Management Programme funding which is provided by the Skills Funding Agency (formally LSC).

Our courses are now available for eligible businesses that apply and qualify for funding through this initiative and we are here to help you establish whether you are eligible for this grant.

What can you get?

In simple terms, the Skills Funding Agency is offering your business grant of up to £1,000 towards your Leadership & Management Training needs.

What is the Leadership & Management Programme?

The programme is specifically aimed at business owners and senior managers responsible for the strategic direction of an organisation, including private, franchise, public and voluntary bodies employing between 5 and 249 staff.

Each employer can benefit from up to £1,000 of grant support. The first £500 does not require a contribution from the employer and should be used for key directors and partners of the company. The subsequent £500 must be ‘match funded’ by the employer and is available for key members of management. Therefore, you could spend up to £1500 and be refunded £1000!

Do we qualify?

To be eligible for the programme your organisation must:

• Employ between 5 to 249 people;
• Whilst this grant has been available since September 2007 it is only available to employers who have not accessed the funding before
